May I Share a Story With You?

A while back, I was mentoring a member named Bill
(name changed for privacy).

So Bill paid me EXTRA to "please set up his autoresponder with a special
ADVERTISING campaign and show him how to connect with his
subscribers)". I said "yes", so we got started.

Everything was going well, UNTIL after we got done with our first Solo ad
campaign. It was then that we realized that none of his subscribers (Zero, 0 /Zilch)
had received an email from him (What?!).

We couldn't believe it, so I began to troubleshoot it, and soon
found out I had forgotten a connection in his autoresponder (oops!).

Well, all was not lost (thank goodness!) and I re-routed everything
and got everything moving properly again!

That's when I had an IDEA. I said to Bill, "Hey, so this new campaign is
not set up to go out till tomorrow. Why don't we send our own short
broadcast email tonight?"

"Let's do it," Bill said. It was then that I had
ANOTHER idea. This was to send out a super short email that I
had personally tested and refined for the last year.

Since I had been having such good success with this, I thought:
"Well, it couldn't hurt!"

Bill agreed and I helped set up the broadcast email for him.

Well, about half an hour later, we happened to look in his
email inbox and noticed the response emails.

I was shocked! I had only seen this kind of response
to my emails (with a list of over 10,000 readers)
and was surprised that he had got so many responses from
only a list of 177 subscribers (AND...in only half an hour!)

Bill was surprised too! Soon we were in business responding
back to these with the scripts I had for him.

"That was fast!" Bill said laughing. I laughed too because
in the past, I had wasted so much time with so LITTLE results!

In fact, it had been a waste of TIME for SO long, and it
was nice to see Bill getting results so quickly!

It's really INSANE how little success I had
before I met my mentor! Years of wasted time.

But, (not surprising), having a mentor is when
EVERYTHING changed for me.

Now I was very HAPPY for Bill!

Why?
